Family-to-Family begins Sept. 21

Family-to-Family is a free, eight-week educational course for family members and caregivers of individuals with mental illness. Sessions will meet 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays Sept. 21 through Nov. 9.

Family members learn about various mental illnesses, treatments, medications, and rehabilitation. Participants learn self-care as well as problem-solving and communication skills. Many graduates of the program called it “life-changing” as they develop friendships with others in similar situations.
